2009–2010 National Seminar Series

The College Board's Access & Diversity Collaborative invites you to participate in a series of national seminars designed to equip higher education leaders with strategies and resources for effectively advancing their campus access and diversity goals.

Seminars will be led by national policy experts and will feature newly developed tools and resources designed to facilitate policy evaluation and team training on campus.

Institutions are encouraged to send teams representing:

  • Enrollment management (admission, financial aid, and outreach and recruitment) and student services

  • Institutional leadership (provosts, deans, legal counsel and president's office staff)

  • Diversity officers, institutional advancement, development, planning and communications

  • Undergraduate, graduate and professional schools

Making the Right Connections: Understanding and Navigating Access and Diversity Issues to Advance Institutional Goals

These seminars will map the principal national policy streams and forecasts that directly affect institutional access and diversity goals. Issues to be addressed include a range of discrete but interrelated topics that have formed as key points of concern as a series of national reports, studies and even policy statements from the current administration have identified the factors impacting the nation's educational access and attainment goals.
